Card 13 – Bye!!

21 May

I am currently doing a Fellowship at my former school and it was supposed to end next Friday. But they have extended it yet again…YAY!!! I will have another month of work experience and paychecks. These amazing news immediately prompted a small order from Ellen Huston LLC – more patterned paper [3 pads!], Maya Road pins, Hero Arts heartwinged butterfly stamp [Thanks Jennifer McGuire!], and Ranger white gel pen [I blame Kristina Werner for this, actually for the paper too =) ].

Anyhoo, in anticipation of me leaving my job, I was making cards for my co-workers and bosses. I was kind of cutting it close too, because I was overthinking everything. But now I have more time – yay! This is one of the cards I already made. It will be going to a co-worker who is extremely kind, generous, and silly. We had so many giggle-fit sessions after 4:30pm, just laughing about nonsense. He really cheers me up when needed, so I made him this silly card. I think he’ll totally appreciate it.

I cut out a scalloped circle with nesties in the front cover and cut another out as well. Stamped the cat on the circle, colored it with Sharpies and used 3D foam adhesive and taped it to the inside of the card. The hills were handcut and embossed with the Cuttlebug. Sentiment is made with glitter thickers.

What I Used:

Cardstock – Amuse clouds; Reflections Christmas pack
Stamp – Penny Black
Ink – Archival by Ranger
Other – American Crafts glitter thickers, Sharpie markers, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder
